Andrea II.jpgA beautiful, wicked Elf. Andrea is sensually Slovak. Crazy about her boyfriend (sorry guys). She’s inked in many artistic ways, loves humor, likes to get a little goofy from time to time, knows how to party, and works hard at IBM Bratislava. She had to rush through the 21 #thrive questions, because this lady likes to get busy, but if she would overthink them, they would sound less spontaneous. And Andrea likes being spontaneous and direct. She’s not exactly what you’d call bashful either.

What is the one thing you could do today that would make everything else easier?

Stop overthinking.

How are you going to create more value for yourself and others than you did yesterday?

Learning from my mistakes. Much easier said than actually done.

What’s the most important project you’re working on right now?

Me trying to fit into today´s world and the way people are thinking and acting. Not to be TOO different and stay within the generally acceptable boundaries.

Andrea I

What are you grateful for?

For all the shit I´ve gone through during my childhood and youth. That’s why I am who I am and it’s awesome.

What are the positive habits you are building right now?

Eating regularly and thinking positively! Need to start doing some sport as wel.

What is a decision you are absolutely committed to? What is something you absolutely want to accomplish?

Family. To spend time with them, appreciate them and to raise kids I’ll be proud of. A big accomplishment would be to land a job I´d do with a smile no matter how many hours I have to keep my nose to the grindstone.

What have you learned recently?

The basics of Dutch and French! Also, I´am seeing something I’ve learned a long time ago, being confirmed every day, namely that most of the people are actors for life…

How do you want to feel today?

Exactly the way I do feel today – awesome! And loved.

How are you going to reward yourself today?

Feeling proud and happy about the way I handled the day, even though it might not be perfect.

What sort of people are you inviting into your life today?

Not many. People that have sense of humor, people that don’t take themselves too seriously and people that are honest no matter how awful the truth/honesty is.

Name a question you’d really like to see answered

‘Why’, every time I ask it.

What does your ideal day look like?

Sleep for 10 hours, work for 6 (doing this dream job I´ll create for myself), have lunch with family, ‘coffee’ after with friends, dinner with my partner and a long walk with our dog. I would need a few more hours a day.

What would you do if you weren’t afraid?

I´d definitely already be a married mother of one (at least), but most importantly I would already be dead, cause there´s just too many dangerous temptation.

Andrea IV

What’s your one word and why?

Definitely the same as my answer to question I´d really like to see answered’ and it’s ‘why’. Because I am too curious and there are SO many things I don´t know and this would help me get there.

If your life was a movie, what would be the title?

Fuck this shit. It´s actually meant in a positive way even though you might think differently.

What’s the best kind of business to get into right now?

I´d say anything you enjoy doing, you know it, and we’re not being overflooded by that product/service yet.

Polgyamy or monogamy? And why?

Monogamy, because of devotion. People can make up their own mind of course. I believe that people were made to want more for themselves, but they usually don’t tolerate it if others want more and not just them. We are very selfish creatures.

What’s the shittiest thing you’ve ever done to someone?

I lied. That´s quite shitty.

What’s the nicest thing you’ve ever done for someone?

I like to believe that I´m doing nice things almost every day, at least I´m trying to.  And I write pretty nice letters, if I say so myself.

What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?

That I look like an elf, a beautiful one, I was told after I got suspicious, several times.

What advice would you give to your 20 year old self?

Be careful, but not too much, and talk to those who matter, because communication is the key.

Don´t be afraid.
