It’s a ritual.
I tell myself the water will soak up my negative vibes and negative thoughts while am asleep.
In the morning I pour it out and visualize all that negativity vanishing down the drain.
Since I have started doing it the quality of my sleep has improved.
I think it’s one of many signals I give my brain to urge it too focus on well-being, positivity, favorable outcomes and seeing opportunities and spotting things to be grateful for.
It’s an idea I got from Aaron Doughty. He shares many helpful rituals on his YouTube channel.
Whatever works to keep the dark thoughts away is fine by me.
