Sounds easy and it is. I listen to lots of interviews with mental health professionals. Those interviews take between 90 and 180 minutes. That’s a huge chunk of time. The really valuable usually takes up only 30 minutes and often a lot less.

So I just speed the video up. Especially the interviewers speak super slowly cause they want to create a cosy feeling for the viewer and the guest and themselves. So at 1.5 the normal speed the interviewer will STILL speak slowly. The guest, especially a very energetic one, will speak at a much faster speed, but you can get used to that and still be able to process the information. Many of these guests wrap their key info in a lot of personal anecdotes. I don’t mind them, I understand they are necessary to make things digestible, but I don’t have much patience with them.

At 1.5 the normal speed I save a lot of time and I still get what I came for.

Try it.

You can get a lot more out of your day. I am discovering ways to maximize what I can squeeze out of one day all the time and am happy to share them with you.

Much love,
