London.
I have this new tradition.
Whenever I go on holiday I go I take this T-shirt along. It was given to me by a neighbour in Bratislava, a very old, eternally cheerful lady. She still cleans apartments even though she must be well over 70. The T-shirt reads ‘we love this country’.
When Slovaks abroad spot it they tend to greet me. Since I have a weird, unexplicable fondness for Slovaks. From all the places I’ve been I felt best among Palestinians, Slovaks and – distant third – Americans.
In Greece I got greeted by at least 10 Slovaks in two days of wearing this T-Shirt. In Brussels by two people in four hours.
We’ll see how London does.

Wonderful! Enjoy London! It’s always a pleasure to visit this great city. I am sure a few Slovaks will definitely notice your t-shirt. 😉

One museum employee asked if I was Croatian but that was it. the speed of this city doesn’t really alloww much time for staring at a T shirt..

I love it. Totally. So pity I didnt wear mine in Belgium before. Had same feeling, when I heard among 10k people in Pairi Daiza slovak language. I instantly follow those people to greet them.

Aw, pity! I was too optimistic then. It’s true that London might be already too big and fast to randomly meet Slovaks but it’s always worth a try. =)

Your latest comment failed to show on the site, sorry for that. Thank you for the compliment. Telling these little stories from every day life is the new approach to this blog. People seem to appreciate it more than political posts, etc
