Our language café is called O-De-Vi (which is how you pronounce Eau de Vie, water of life or essence of life in French).
We organized it for the first time on the 30th of November.
More people came than we initially expected.
The place quickly filled up with lots of talkative, fun, jovial, super sweet people.
Everyone brought something to eat or to drink, so the booze was NOT flowing like mud. To steal a line from the movie Scent of a Woman.
We talked a lot, we laughed a lot (several guests were super funny), we played some games, several languages were spoken, though in the end we spoke mostly Slovak.
Five different nationalities were present. Most guests were Slovak.
