Plenty of mysteries here. Why has Russia not achieved air superiority over the Ukrainian skies? Why have the Russians spread their forces so thin? Why have they not managed to cut Ukraine in half? This would vastly improve their situation. They are not mounting attacks in full force on key points, instead opting for minor attacks all over the place. Weird, because this is not what Russian military academies teach. Are they so unmotivated? Are some high ranking officers sabotaging this war effort? Do they have some game plan everyone is missing or are they really just bungling this like George Armstrong Custer on LSD?

Something deeper is unfolding whether it be sabotage which I hadn’t thought of, maybe it is part of Putin’s strategy or something else entirely. Whatever the case it’s strange to see all this unfolding in real time through the lens of the internet/media. The financial aspect is just as fascinating.
I try not to express anxiety over this war by telling myself it is not in my control but it is hard not to, I understand for your family the anxiety is amplified due to your proximity and I wish you good health and safety. I don’t think it will spill over (nuclear radiation or conflict) but whatever the case I know you’ll look after your family.
Appreciate your posts on this matter as they offer a greater range of perspectives.
