This is an easy game, but it gives you lots of topics to talk about with students. It stimulates discussions and interesting conversations.
The concept is simple. Each player gets cards of events, inventions, movie releases, etc. On the back of these cards is a year.
To start one card is put on the table. With the year visible.
The players try to put their cards on the table in chronological order. One card at a time. If they get it wrong they have to draw an extra cards.
The first player to have no more cards wins the game.
These timeline sets are a great teaching tool. They bring variety, surprise and originality.
Excellent to make lessons richer and more fun.
Although the labels on the cards are in one language you can basically use these cards to teach any language. The images are often self-explanatory and when not you just translate the label for the students.
