For years and years I came home after school, switched on the television at about 17.00 and watched television till about midnight.
That’s how eventually the Dutch language running in my head got replaced by English.
I write this website in English because of series like Step by Step.
Is it the best series? Certainly not. But it was ok. And at the playground at school we discussed series likes this, mimicked the characters and repeated lines from the dialogues.

I loved watching Step by Step! 😀 My favourite characters were Dana and Cody. However, I didn’t have the idea to use the show to improve my English as I watched in Czech dubbing. Kouďáku! 😀

I think my favorites were JT and Dana, but am not sure. I remember we thought the mum was hot, but I guess my taste in women has changed completely. I enjoyed watching it back then, but it’s not something I would want to rewatch. Like I will probably rewatch Friends from time to time for the rest of my life, but not this. Did you ever watch Family Matters?
