Countries who qualify are, for example, Syria and Iran. These countries can never do any good and are therefore called ‘regimes’. This is a word that implies: these are not legitimate countries, we don’t recognize the authority of these countries, we want to get rid of these and install people who will do exactly as we say.

Watch for it.

If your country is ever said to have a ‘regime’ by US politicians, you risk being bombed.

In the picture you see Donald Rumsfeld shake hands with Saddam, before his rules was considered a ‘regime’. That was back when the US did all in its power to support Iraq in its brutal war against Iran.
