“It’s obvious to me that the most overrated President would have to be Barack Obama. The reason is simple: he was endlessly praised in the media as the darling and Great Hope of the liberal and progressive class, but actually accomplished nothing beneficial for the American people. Here are a few reasons:

Winner of the Nobel peace prize. For well, nothing, other than the awards committee thought he might do something different. In 2015 the former director of Norway’s Nobel Institute revealed that he regrets the committee’s decision to give the 2009 Nobel Peace award to President Obama.

The most anemic economic recovery since the arms buildup that saved the US from the Great Depression in the late 1930s.

Participation in, and approval of, the legislation that has caused health insurance premiums and deductibles to skyrocket—which is, of course, the ACA or Obamacare.

Single handedly erasing the gains of The Surge in Iraq by removing US troops without any plans for helping the Iraqis maintain control of the region.

Who can forget the “Red Line in the Sand” threat issued to Assad in Syria for use of chemical weapons? Never make a threat you do not intend to carry through.

“Treaties” with no Senate approval, and therefore no rule of law. The Iran Nuclear Deal, TPP, Paris Climate Accord. All eminently useless, and all will be ignored by not just the current President, but all future Presidents.

Closing Guantanamo Bay. Oops, never mind.

Exacerbating deterioration of race relations in the country.

Wholesale destruction of the Democratic Party on his watch. They now hold just 18 (OK, 19 soon) of the 50 governorships, and only 31 of the nation’s 99 state legislative chambers.

Doubled the deficit from 5 Trillion to 10 Trillion.

There are more, but I think this makes the point.”
