What is the one thing you could do today to bring you closer to your goals?
At this very moment, my biggest goal would be to get organized again. So I’ll be doing all the things I have been putting off lately: business administration, emailing my students, sending invoices, cleaning up the heap of papers on my desk,… in general: cleaning up. Yay 🙂
Other things you absolutely want to focus on today:
Taking care of my body. I’ve got a pinched nerve in my back which -according to my physician – is caused by my liver and gallbladder. So eating healthy food and taking a bit of rest seems to be mandatory right now. So far I’ve already managed to drink lemon water first thing in the morning. But I’m afraid that’s the most healthy thing I did until now. I find it a bit hard to believe that this is caused by my gallbladder, since I never drink alcohol, don’t smoke (anymore, quit some years ago) and don’t drink coffee. But hey, I’ve been going to this physician for years, so let’s give him some credit, since whatever he does always seems to help.
How can you create more value today than you did yesterday?
Perhaps by teaching more piano students then I did yesterday.. which in fact I will be doing this evening 🙂
What new approach can you try to come closer to your dream life?
Since I’m actually very happy with my life at the moment and am not aiming for better material things, I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing
What made you feel happy, in flow, recently?
As strange as this may sound, I’m always in flow when I’m making jewelry or crocheting. Anything that lets me create something. So I try to create something every day.
I am grateful for:
Everything I have. Although I really tend to dislike this world and its systems and at times can get quite depressed by it, I am extremely grateful for my family, my friends, my fantastic boyfriend, our nice appartment, my 2 jobs and hobby that makes a 3rd job, my abilities and talents, and all of the experiences I have had that made me grow. All the places I’ve seen, .. and so much more.
I’m really excited about:
Helping people, being of service to others and creating something
These are the most important habits I’m building:
I’m not quite good at building habits and there are definitely habits I should be building… Working out is one of them. But I’m working on it 🙂
Stuff I did right:
Leaving my ex and making space to meet the love of my life
consulting a therapist
always being honest
Opening more online shops to sell my jewelry. And always a lot of creative ideas to make things

If you don’t set boundaries, nobody can or will respect them. Saying no is OK too

By making some time to continue crocheting the second piece of clothing I’m working on.

How can I use all of my talents to make sure I will never have to work another day in my life (because working won’t, not even for a single second, feel like working)?

A day in which I can help people and create.
What would you do today if you weren’t afraid?
Get a tattoo, as shallow as that may sound 🙂 And perhaps learn to swim. And speak my mind to certain people.
When you’re 100 years old and you look back over your life, what would make you think your time was well spent?
If I have been of value to others, if I have gave all the love I had, if I had loving relationships and I have been doing things I love and made time for myself, I would have lived a satisfying life
What advice would you give your 20-year old self?
Don’t let people walk over you. Stand up for what you believe in. Don’t let anyone doubt your self-worth or bring you down. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Leave those abusive relationships, you deserve a lot better. See a therapist for the things that haunt you.
