What is the one thing you can do today that can bring me closer to your goals?
Sort things out with the Slovak foreign police so we can get married.
Other things you absolutely want to focus on today:
Novel, translation, reading, clients.
How can you create more value today than you did yesterday?
Translate my therapy site to English and have someone translate it to Slovak.
What made you feel happy, in flow, recently?
Discussing history and society and ‘reality’ with Ruben. Working with Mary. Hugging Zuzana.
I am grateful for:
Right now there’s nothing we are doing, because we have to, we do what what we do, because we like it.
I’m really excited about:
Manuel is visiting tomorrow, we’re going to discus ‘growthhacking’.
These are the most important habits I’m building:
Today I really feel my body is screaming stop eating crap food, get more exercise…
Stuff I did right:
Friends send me a lot of information they find interesting, and I’m glad I’ve stopped taking so many things at face-value, I try to check the info as best as I know how.
Creating more blogs and giving them a clear focus, such as this one.
Things I’ve learned:
Mankind underwent a cognitive revolution between 70,000 and 30,000 years ago and we have no idea why that happened.
What is the single most important thing in your life?
Doing something useful that involves writing.
Ask yourself a question that could really move you forward if you had the answer:
Who in Slovakia is willing to sponsor an internet webshow based around video interviews…
What would you do today if you weren’t afraid?
Vlogging probably. Contact The Slovak Spectator.
When you’re 100 years old and you look back over your life, what would make you think your time was well spent?
If 1,000 people bought a copy of my novel, time spent having sex, time spent laughing, if I could leave several houses to my children and convince them to own them together, keep all the houses in the family, always, if I could look back and say that my time spent writing wasn’t a waste of time (right now I’m still afraid that it is a major waste of time, although I have fun doing it) and several other minor things.
What advice would you give your 20-year old self?
For God’s sake get an extra, this time useful, degree in a field that you actually want to be working in as soon as you have the useless degree of Slavic languages in your pocket.
Some very essential dating advice!!!
