This store is running a scam. I am not the first to report this. They lure children into their store, very quickly have children fill up one of their pots, do not display prices and then charge insane prices for very cheap candy.

About 300 gr – see picture – cost me 15 euro. The actual worth of the candy I would estimate at maximum 5 euro. I was lucky that the sales lady used a relatively small pot that filled up very quickly. What I found particularly disgusting is that the young lady offered my son to taste their candy, but never actually let him taste.

This is consistent with what I see other people report.

On the bright side: this is the first time I feel scammed in Slovakia as a customer, so congratulations to whomever owns Pedro for running a sick business in a country where shops tend to have fair offers. Slovaks, whose national sport is complaining, will deny this, but what Pedro does is highly unusual.

The owner will do extremely well in Slovak politics and I recommend he does this with Eurofunds and not unsuspecting tired parents, it’s rather more disgraceful to prey on little children and their sugar cravings.
