Once a week I organize a board game event, either over at my office or – exceptionally – at home. Some strategy enthusiasts come over, we order great food and experiment with tactics on cardboard battlefields. Almost nothing recharges my batteries better and faster than these events. Today we will be testing two expansions for what has become my all time favorite board game: Civilization. There will be a bit of a language challenge as well, because the base game is in English, one expansion is Spanish and the other expansion is all in German. And of course most of rhe players speak..
