Manuel II.jpgWarmth, candor, optimism, drive, ambition, bon vivant, connaisseur of all good things in life, dancer, businessman, motivational speaker, interpreter, trainer, organiser of workshops, language professional, teacher… There are many words to describe Manuel Serrano. He’s also a cosmopolitan, he’s from Chile, but grew up in the US, and he settled in Slovakia later. He was in Seattle when the grunge movement started, he arrived in Slovakia right after the fall of communism, and he still follows all the latest trends in business, world politics, productivity hacks, social behavior, psychology, etc. Manuel is fluent in Spanish, English and the tricky language that is Slovak, and he understands several other languages. He’s also interested in freeing people from unnecessary costs and hassle and promotes minimalism.

The one thing he does not cut back on is his passion for life. Manuel is always busy working on too many projects to name, so his answers to our 21 #thrive questions are succint, but on the spot. They are so wonderfully terse, we didn’t edit them, because you can tell this guy likes to get right down to business.
