I’m not regretting that run last night. Even though my body kinda hurts today. I really pushed myself last night. Yesterday, was a day of some good proverbial pushing. Not just myself pushing me but my very friend William pushing me to write. And don’t worry, I push him right now. This is a friendship of equal pushing.
I have to work 12-9 today so I won’t have as nearly much time to write. Boo! BUT…I know I can come home tonight and write. And when I became the Duchess of Insomnia at 4am, I worked on one of my novels. I also answered a couple emails too. Yay for being productive!
Okay, so on to my day…
What is the one thing you can do today to really get closer to your goals?
Write. And I already have today (and it’s only 10:30 here. I was up writing at 4am. Yay insomnia!). I think I’ve nearly got the two pages I need to write.
Other things you absolutely want to focus on today:
Doing yoga AS SOON as I get home from work at 9pm. Getting the laundry folded that I did last. Making sure I’ve got things ready for the day trip my partner and I are going on tomorrow. We’re leaving early.
How can you create more value today than you did yesterday?
Keep writing. Jot down some ideas for blog posts. Keep reading the book about Gettysburg by Sears.
What new approach can you try to come closer to your dream life?
Same as yesterday. Overcome my fears that keep me from writing. You know? That little voice in your head that says “You cannot do it”. I personified that voice. It’s like the Confederate Army and I have so smash through their lines.
What made you feel happy, in flow, recently?
Writing, that I have a cool friendship with William where we constantly push each other to become better people.
Yoga. I did a 35 minute practice this morning. It was good.
The positive people I have in my life. And many of these are people I’ve never met. You can form some amazing friendships on the internet. This past year has proven that to me.
I am grateful for:
- My partner
- My health
- My passion for history and that I have people in my life that get that passion and don’t see me as being weird.
- Abraham Lincoln – he was a cool guy. If I didn’t have an interest in him (and the Civil War) I probably wouldn’t have met many of the people that I have in the past year.
I’m really excited about:
HENRY FORD MUSEUM TOMORROW!
Reading the chapters that William sends me.
These are the most important habits I’m building:
Writing on a daily basis, planning out blog posts, reading everyday.
Stuff I did right:
- Wrote two pages yesterday. Okay, more than two pages.
- Did a terrific yoga practice this morning.
As William said, I can write and blog every day. A blog post can only be five lines. So, this actually have inspired me to blog more, even if it something small.
Some things I decide to do, no matter what:
- Drink tea
- Get outside on a daily basis
- Write one blog post a day
Things I’ve learned:
I said yesterday that running does not hurt my body as much as it once did. So, today, yes I am sore…BUT…the yoga I did this morning helped immensely with that. So, now I’ve learned my body can hurt from running.
How do you want to feel today?
Kinda bummed I have to go to work. But it’s called money. And I need it. Other than that, positive.
How do you want to treat others today?
Positively, and with love
How are you going to reward yourself today?
Coming home and doing yoga is a huge reward. The tension, physical and mental, just melts away. It’s pretty awesome actually.
Writing when I come home.
What kind of people are you inviting into your life today?
Like minded people
What is the single most important thing in your life?
Ask yourself a question that could really move you forward if you had the answer:
Is a novel written in the third AND first person perspective odd? Would the reader just get annoyed?
Remind yourself of your vision. What does your ideal day look like?
Writing, yoga, friends, getting outside.
Anyway, that’s all for now! I hope all of you have a wonderful day!
Until next time….
