Alternative media voices are unanimous in their optimism. Iran will win. Israel and American will suffer a crushing defeat. A recap of what the ecosystem involving Ritter, Macgregor, Sachs, Alastair Crooke, Mearsheimer, Hedges, Chas Freeman, Marandi and anyone that goes on Glenn Diesel’s show are claiming:
• Iran is cleverly holding back its most sophisticated weaponry
• Iran is wearing out the enemy’s interceptor stocks by throwing old missile at them, so the worst is yet to come
• Iran losing a substantial number of surface ships has no strategic implications
• Iran can close off the Strait of Hormuz indefinitely, it’s so narrow even shore artillery can deny ships access
• The US navy is ill prepared to contest Iran’s blockade of the Strait
• Israel has such a tight grip on news coverage that the public never gets to see the real damage inside Israel
• Attacks on Saudi-Arabia, Cyprus, Azerbaijzan are Israeli false flag operations
• Israel would love to see the Kurds take over border towns in Iran, but the Iranian army can handle them
• Missile launchers are deep under the ground and Iran is so vast, 4,5 times Germany, that Israel and America can’t bomb them fast enough or even destroy them
• The economy will tank so much that Trump will suffer greatly in the midterm elections, cause his base will feel the pinch
• Israel and America have nobody inside Iran to form the kind of government they would like to see
• A ground invasion would be a complete disaster
• Maintaining US forces in the Middle East to keep up the bombing of Iran will soon be too costly
• The US is not producing enough ammunition, not even close, and doesn’t have the industrial base to do so
• Several of these commentators claim the US soldiers don’t want to fight in this war
• Khamenei was exactly the guy who was stopping the Iranians from developing nukes and now they have every incentive to go right ahead with getting nuclear bombs
• Some think the US or Israel might try to use nukes against Iran when convential bombing does little to stop the missiles
• They all claim Iran knocked out astronomically expensive radars and that America is now blind
• Some claim that US weaponry is shite and we will soon hear about how US equipment malfunctioned
• Iran has prepared for decades to have its government decapitated and has decentralized its command structure and all local commanders got the memo and know exactly what to do
• On top of everything US and Israeli actions will make everyone lose trust in them, cut ties with them, look to Russia and China to do business and international law is dead and buried by, to name only one example, torpedoing an Iranian ship that wasn’t even armed, in international waters. Which some compare to the sinking of the Lusithania during World War I by the Kaiser’s Germany. This then creates a world where the law of the jungle rules and the US will come to regret this
• The Gulf states will regret their alignment with the US
• Nobody is ever going to invest in the region ever again
• It is the end of the Petrodollar
• Jeffrey Sachs casually mentions the CIA killed Kennedy and that since then the US is run by war hawks
• In Bahrein shiite protests will overthrow Sunni rule
• The Turks will secretly back Iran, because they know that if Iran fragments Israel will try to do something similar to Turkey
In short, Iran does everything brilliantly, every setback was planned for, Israel and the US are utterly clueless, have bitten off more than they can chew, can’t do anything right, any US or Israeli success is fake or a Pyrric victory, Iran’s missile launching capabilities are invulnerable, the world will do absolutely nothing about Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz, America is this inflexible goliath that can’t start producing more ammunition if needs be, China and Russia are playing their cards right, and only Israel, Ukraine and America are run by toddlers with the strategic insight of extremely drunk Alzheimer patients.
Everything will go perfect for Iran and any indication to the contrary is a lie by the evil empire.
Hope that clarifies something.
