You may think that snappy shots aimed at certain people running a fake country (you know…) or an empire about to collapse (the US) is helpful. It certainly gives you some juicy dopamine and some release from all the pressure, it may even distract your from your own personal worries. You may even get you likes and validation (neeeeever admit you do it for the likes of course!!!! Never!), but in the end you help these insane maniacs grow stronger. In a way they have your fire, but they used it to build cathedrals of evil, while your fire is wasted on breathing smoke to them.
The worst that could happen to evil is if you build an alternative. You anger, outrage feeds them. You think it makes you moral, that your never ending outrage crowns you. You may feel like a crusader. Crusaders don’t end up building anything lasting. They become much like the evil they think they are fighting. I am seeing people call out evil, in a way that is making them sound pretty evil too.
If a few people could be very honest, they’d have to admit they are addicted to outrage, calling out the very real hypocrisy, very real double standards, very real murder of innocents. Yes, we our dealing with peak human evil. Really, it is PEAK human evil. And outrage, attacking them with angry words head on, feeds them. You are feeding evil, not dismantling it.
In shadow boxing the monster, you can very much become like the monster.
Daily ship your love, your fire, your passion, your attention, to the good ones, the willing, those with empathy, those who still move forward under circumstances that would entirely destroy most western people in a matter of days.
All yee who enter my home, help me free Palestine.
