• The docu highlights the resounding military success Hamas achieved on October 7th. For over a year we have seen the media try to pass this military operation off as some irrational gore seeking pogrom, but this is a blatant misrepresentation of what actually happened. A small military organisation overwhelmed one of the best equipped and best funded armies in the world
• You get to see extremely rare footage of high ranking Hamas personnel planning the attack in modern looking war rooms
• Israel’s military forces in the targeted areas collapsed surprisingly quickly
• One expert says that even a large regular army could not have so easily breached Israeli defenses in so many places
• Israel was planning a large scale attack on Gaza. This attack was supposed to take place after the holidays, but the surprise attack by Hamas derailed all these plans. The attack was a preemptive strike, a legitimate move
• Going deep into Israel and into civilians areas was never the plan, but Hamas was surprised by the scale of its own success and went after soldiers and defense units in the Kibbutzim. Mohammed Deif specifically instructed the fighters not to kill children
• The docu once again shows Israeli soldiers enjoying their wanton destruction of civilian homes, acting like drunk teenagers vandalizing property because they don’t have any mature role models to look up to. This in sharp contrast with Hamas whose fighters made sure not to target children
• As many of us have been saying all along, the severe destruction of Be’eri was done by the Israeli army itself. They blasted away at this location killing some Hamas fighters and many Israeli civilians
• Among the circa 1,300 Israeli casualties were not only several hundred soldiers but also armed civilians, members of local defense forces. Taking into account that Israel killed an unspecified number of its own civilians one may wonder how many unarmed civilians who played no active military role were actually killed by Hamas. That number is very low.
• The docu repeats the reasons for this attack: a preemptive strike on the Israeli army preparing to strike Gaza, disrupting normalization accords with Israel and some Arab countries which did not insist on a just treatment of Palestinian demand, the cruel treatment of Palestinians prisoners under racist fanatic Itamar Ben- Gvir, the desecration of Islamic Holy Sites by Israelis, the blockade of Gaza, in force and tightening since 2007, the violent displacement of at least 1,100 Palestinians in the West Bank by unhinged Israeli settlers in the few years leading up to the October 7th offensive
• You see stunning footage of Palestinians fighters destroying and capturing the most modern armored vehicles in Israel’s arsenal • You see the Israeli army not being in control in Gaza and being shot and blown to pieces in the rubble they created (as predicted from the very start https://projectauthenticity.org/2023/11/08/israeli-army-on-shaky-ground-idf-is-a-paper-tiger-and-it-has-walked-into-the-trap-hamas-set-for-it-heres-why/ )
• You see Sinwar and other commanders walk among fighters above ground to boost morale and to coordinate attacks (Netanyahu and his ilk will of course stay very, very far away from any kind of danger…)
• Very striking is that so many fighters who fought on October 7th are alive more than a year later, highlighting Israel’s laughable failure
• As said many times before Israel’s decision to lay Gaza to waste never had a chance to defeat Hamas militarily and served to unite the Israelis who wanted blood for having been so humiliated by the easy and unimagineable victory of Hamas on October 7th
• Israeli strikes killed some hostages inside Gaza..
• You see footage of a succesful strike on a high ranking Israel commander in early January 2025
• The footage of the clashes in Gaza make it clear how impossible it is for the Israeli army to hold and occupy Gaza, since they would continue to sustain heavy casualties. As said many times before, the Israeli army took out its rage on the civilians and couldn’t deal with the Palestinian armed forces at all. The sight of puzzled Israeli soldiers wandering about at the scene of a destroyed Israeli tank highlights the impotence of their fighting forces in Gaza when it comes to actually dealing with combattants
• Viewers are reminded of how deeply divided Israeli society is and how this savage bombing campaign served to prevent blame from being passed around and to unite a bewildered, shocked, panicking Israeli populace against a common enemy
• The docu concludes that Israel has lost any control over the narrative. What Israel says and what it does on the ground are in sharp contrast. Any credibility Israel had is a smouldering ruin along with all the buildings it toppled to show Israelis it was accomplishing something…
• Tens of thousands of Palestinians are dead, most of them women and children, and Israel is on shakier ground than ever before
• What Hamas has achieved is unique in the history of warfare. When you compare the military strength of the opponents on paper Israel outmatches Hamas in every respect. But ingenuity, courage, determination, zeal, loyalty, the justness of the cause one fights for, cannot be measured
