Am now going to share something nobody in the world will feel any sort of excitement over, but I have to get it out. In one of my favorite movies a very likeable Jewish character gets into trouble with his mum, because he is dating a much older, non-Jewish woman. I often watch this movie with clients for a variety of reasons and they always love it.

Today, after watching I don’t know how many times, I was waching it with a client and I spotted a very short scene where the main character is wearing a T-shirt with ‘Palestinians do it better’. The level of detail and meaning the makers of this movie put into it shows such passion, such dedication, I can feel only the greatest admiration.

You almost can’t spot it since the scene really lasts only a few seconds and the light is quite dim. But it emphasizes his rebelious attitude growing up in a strict, conformity seeking Jewish family. The plot of the movie is excellent, all the characters come alive and you even learn something about the mechanics and ethics of psychotherapy.

I didn’t think I could appreciate this movie even more, but these few seconds did it. I hope to one day create something with this much of an eye for detail, as this is just one example, the whole movie is like this.
